2024 National Finalists
Top 100 Teams Announced
A record breaking 922 teams participated in the 2024 American Rocketry Challenge! Now, 100 of those teams from 28 states, will descend on Washington, DC to compete for the title of National Champion, $100,000 in cash and prizes, and an all expense paid trip to compete in the International Rocketry Challenge in July.

2023 National Champions: Hardin Valley Academy Team 1
Hardin Valley Academy Team 1 were crowned National Champion at the world’s largest student rocketry competition – the American Rocketry Challenge. Hardin Valley Academy Team 1 had the best score of 99 teams competing at the National Finals, which took place at Great Meadow in The Plains, VA on May 20, 2023.
In total, 798 teams from 45 states competed in the 2023 American Rocketry Challenge. The students will now represent the United States at the International Rocketry Challenge taking place at the Paris Air Show in June.
