The American Rocketry Challenge team from Francis Hammond Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia received the national spotlight over the summer for their stories of resilience and strength as they pursue their dreams. The team, which qualified for National Finals in only their second year of competition, is made up of students that fled conflict in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Ethiopia.
