Meet the U.S. Rocketry Team: Ella Paulin, Data Analyst

Name: Ella Paulin
Grade: 9
Role: Data Analyst

How has the team grown over the year?

We’ve gone from a group of unconnected middle schoolers to a team of rising sophomores, who are able to cooperate to solve all manner of problems which we have encountered during our journey to internationals.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give a shout out to?

I really want to thank our mentor Pavel Pinkas for putting in so many hours helping us create a rocket and a presentation that we can be proud to show on an international stage.

What are you most excited to see in Paris?

I’m most excited to look around and get to see all the other events that are part of the International Airshow.

How does it feel to represent the United States of America on the International Stage?

It’s a lot of responsibility representing such a big country in a competition like this. I hope to do it justice through our performance in the competition.

What advice do you have for future students interested in TARC?

Go for it! As long as you’re willing to put in the hours working and launching, it’s a great experience.

Are you more excited for Cheese, Bread, Croissants, or another food in Paris???

I’m really excited to see the difference between Wisconsin cheeses and Paris cheeses.
