The American Rocketry Challenge is more than just rockets! It’s also about creativity and developing business and management skills. Join our new Marketing Competition to show off your team’s hard work this year, and help others get excited the contest, aerospace, and space exploration.
The submission deadline for the Marketing Competition is Friday, May 1.
To celebrate the American Rocketry Challenge’s new brand, we’re replacing the team outreach competition with our NEW marketing competition.
The team that creates the best video based on Strength of Message, Creativity, and Editing and Technical Skills will win:
- $2,000 team prize
- A custom logo and poster consultation and design by 2046 Design, the same firm who created our new logo!
- Custom swag with your new logo
The second place team will receive a $1,000 prize, while third place will receive $500!
And don’t worry – there’s plenty of extra credit! Your team can earn bonus points by outreach similar to our previous competition: engaging the media, engaging your community, and engaging your peers.
As a special addition due to the current situation, we’ve added some new suggestions on bonus point activities you and your team can do! From creating rocketry tutorials, to engaging with our sponsors on social media and showing off your rocket there, there are plenty of ways to help share your story and get points.
All entries will be scored based on our rubric by at least three members of the American Rocketry Challenge team. From there, the top ten entries will be sent to a panel of five judges from our partners and sponsors.
All teams will receive their graded rubrics after the grand prize winner is announced on June 1.
